Yesterday was an extremely busy day. I started at 5:30am. My day began by getting TATA (who is my Dad) up and dressed and fed. What a pleasure to be able to take care of him. Next I moved on to work. We are moving to a new computer system where we have electronic medical records. The new system is going to be a bit comlicated but I'm sure once everything get's rolling it will be fine. My sister and brother-in-law a great people to work for and work with. It's great to be able to work on my own hours, since I have the Karate school to run and my Dad to take care of. There is lots and lots of work but, as with any job, if you are dedicated and stay on top of things, it all works out. I work with Kelly on the phone quite a bit of the time. It's great to work with someone who shares the same type of work ethics. She is wonderful. We are all fortunate to have such a deticated staff member. She is more like family than anything.
Mr McCumber and I took Tata to Des Plaines today so that he can prove that he is still around to collect on his pension from Germany. Tata worked in Germany after World War II for awhile before coming to America. He receives a pension for his work there. Once we got home I took care of the things I needed to take care of for Tata. Got his lunch prepared and served and made sure I had things ready for him for dinner later. Once Tata was relaxing again, I got back to work on my office work then on to paying the bills and getting caught up on things that needed to be done from an administrative standpoint for WhiteDragon. Before I knew it, time flew by and it was time to get to the Karate school to teach Lil Dragonss. We worked on some new kicks for the Lil Dragons, they refressed their skills on peddle jump front kick and learned how to do a tornado kick. They did a great job. Of course they were being shown by one of the best kickers in the school, Mr Christian. We had several new students start Karate today. A family of seven and a new teenager. It was an exciting and busy time. After the beginners class we moved on to Sparring. We had a couple of guests come to work with us from Chicago. What a great time and wonderful experience. Jim and Danielle are wonderful . I hope we were able to give Danielle a good workout. I still had to teach Kardio so my evening did not end yet. Thank goodness for Kelly who jumped in and helped with things that needed to be done for the new students. She is the best. Once class was over we went home and I had to get some dinner together. Unfortunately we were eating very late. After dinner I worked a little bit more on my office work and then off to bed. I'll be journaling again in a couple of days. Until next time. KEEP SMILING and STAY HAPPY> Mrs. M
